Cyclo Ocean is an advanced technology engineering firm with experience in harnessing tidal and deep ocean currents to obtain clean, renewable energy. Ocean currents are a huge untapped reservoir of energy. The total worldwide power in ocean currents is estimated to be about 5,000 GW with power densities of up to 15 kW/m2. Cyclo Ocean makes highly efficient, subsurface generators capable of greatly increased power output from counter-rotation technology, by tapping into this sustainable reservoir. They can be fixed to the sea floor in shallow water or anchored in water as deep as 200m. Working freely below the surface, the generators pose no risk to shipping and no hazard to navigation.
